About the Chef
Star Ranch Kitchen is run by Jeff Townsley from his home in Star Ranch, Hutto.
What started as weekend cooking, backyard experiments, and too many conversations about “what should we make next?” turned into a small monthly comfort-food pickup concept built around scratch-made, meatless plates.
The food is made in a home kitchen, finished with the kind of details that matter — fresh herbs, good salt, real sauce, wood-fired bread, and dishes that feel like something you’d be excited to bring home.
Each month features one focused plate, made in limited quantities for scheduled pickup. No giant menu. No restaurant cosplay. Just a good neighborhood plate made with care.

Star Ranch Kitchen focuses on meatless comfort-food plates because it keeps the menu aligned with Texas cottage food rules while still allowing big flavor through sauces, cheeses, beans, vegetables, herbs, smoke, and wood-fired bread.
