Meet the Cook Behind Star Ranch Kitchen

Star Ranch Kitchen is run by Jeff Townsley from his home in Star Ranch, Hutto.

What started as weekend cooking, backyard experiments, and too many conversations about “what should we make next?” turned into a small monthly comfort-food pickup concept built around scratch-made, meatless plates.

The food is made in a home kitchen, finished with the kind of details that matter — fresh herbs, good salt, real sauce, wood-fired bread, and dishes that feel like something you’d be excited to bring home.

Each month features one focused plate, made in limited quantities for scheduled pickup. No giant menu. No restaurant cosplay. Just a good neighborhood plate made with care.

Star Ranch Kitchen focuses on meatless comfort-food plates because it keeps the menu aligned with Texas cottage food rules while still allowing big flavor through sauces, cheeses, beans, vegetables, herbs, smoke, and wood-fired bread.

Prepared in a home kitchen that is not inspected by a health department. Everything is meatless — no meat, poultry, seafood, raw milk, or other prohibited foods.

Keep it refrigerated

Many items (rice, beans, pasta salad, dairy dips, casseroles, prepared trays) must be kept refrigerated. Reheat thoroughly before eating.

Allergens

Items may contain milk, wheat, eggs, tree nuts, and soy. Each order is labeled with prep date and allergens. Let me know about allergies before ordering.
